Healthy Weight-Loss Program – Quick Tips Number 2 – Get Invested

My Weight Loss Program.

When we choose to lose weight and we seriously begin to journey on an healthy weight loss program our success lies in our investment to achieve our health, diet, fitness and weight loss goals. All are part of our complete program. Not only are we to set goals for our health, diet and fitness we need to commit to them and then invest in them. Only when we are committed and invested will we be successful.

Commit to Our Weight Loss Goals.

Commitment is a mindset based on intentionally setting goals and giving ourselves to achieve those goals. Your level of achievement is based on your commitment. Our commitment to our goals are evidenced by the priority we put on these goals. I said evidence. This denotes the action we take versus the talk we talk. We can talk all we want about losing weight and our personal commitment to our goals but actions will be the evidence of our commitment. By itself commitment does guarantee success, but lack of commitment will guarantee failure. So as we set our goals and establish the priority they have in our life be truthful with ourselves and act accordingly. We know that success is also a mindset. Success is based on faith that we can and we will achieve our goals. Faith in our success will also help our commitment. So know that with commitment and professional guidance we will succeed if we invest in our success.

Invest in Our Weight Loss Goals.

Generally when someone mentions investment our first thought is a financial investment. Though financial investment is definitely required to meet our goals it is just one of many investments that we must commit to for our success.

First we must be invested in mind. That means achieving our goals is a priority in our mind and we are focused to make them happen. We believe in our plan, we have set out the necessary action steps (or soon will) and we will be committed to make them happen.

Next we must be invested in our time. Once our mind is made up we must invest the necessary time for success. The time investment quite often is the hardest part, but if we are really committed and our goals are a priority then the evidence will bare out our time investment. Like anything else, we get out what we put in. If we do not invest much time we will reap a relative return.

Invest in knowledge. Commit to learning as much as we can about our health, diet, fitness and losing weight. This knowledge will make it easier to succeed. If we know better and are committed we can and will do better.

Finally, invest your money. Invest our money to buy healthy food, (it really is less expensive than eating unhealthy). Invest our money in our fitness. Whether we join a health club, build a home gym, invest in a personal trainer or weight loss coach, as well as apparel (you know we need to look good) we must invest in our fitness. Invest in natural nutritional vitamin supplements essential to our healthy diet, our fitness and our losing weight. Sit down and Seriously commit a budget to achieving our goals.

Get Invested in Our Weight Loss Goals!

Without an investment of our mind, our time and our money we will not succeed. No matter what we do. If we are not committed in mind, time and money; we are not committed. This doesn’t mean we can’t work in and around our time constraints. Nor does it mean that if we have a limited budget we will not be successful. It does mean that if we have a small budget we must commit more time or if we have little time commit more to the budget. But there is always a minimum investment necessary. So until we take the time to access our commitment and establish what we can and will invest do not start a healthy weight loss program. When we are serious about our health, diet and fitness goals, then and only then should we GET INVESTED.

The David Murdoch Diet is the Healthy Weight Loss Program

How About The David Murdoch Diet?

Since the Oprah Winfrey Show did a segment on David Murdoch there has been many questions about his diet. I had to pay attention myself and do my thorough research. Because David Murdoch is an 85 year old man in excellent physical condition for a 50 year old let alone someone his age. He has a goal to live a long and healthy lifestyle. David even professes he will live to be 120 years old. What interested me was the fact that at 85 David could do 50 push ups with out stopping.

Motivation.

Before we discuss what the David Murdoch Diet is we first must understand who David is and his motivation. David is a billionaire entrepreneur who has been very successful and owns a well known company. That is important only to know that when his wife was diagnosed with cancer he put millions into research and trying to find a cure to save her. Though he was unsuccessful what he learned is really what I have been saying since I began my personal quest. That is we can prevent cancer. The main cause of cancer is our unhealthy lifestyle. We do not eat healthy, we do not exercise regularly and we do not take safe, healthy nutritional vitamin supplements to supplement our diets. These three areas and more are in our control and we can prevent cancer in our own lives. Honestly my story and motivation is the same. Cancer in my father drove me to seek for answers and I came to the same conclusion as David.

Three Components of the David Murdoch Diet.

There are three components to the David Murdoch Diet which are: Eat Healthy; Exercise Regularly; and take Natural Nutritional Vitamin Supplements. In fact I call it my Healthy Weight Loss Program.

Eat Healthy!

Sixty to Seventy per cent of all we eat should be fresh fruit and raw vegetables. We should eat 100% whole grains, nuts and beans. While we should eat mostly fresh fruit and raw vegetables (preferably organic) it is alright to have small portions of low fat high fiber meat in our diets. But, you should avoid red meat and eat only a little fish, chicken or turkey. Drink plenty of water, natural herbal teas and avoid soda and commercially processed drinks of all kinds. David Murdoch juices regularly (so do I) and this helps add vitamins, minerals and nutrients without adding fat. The other two no no’s are salt and sugar. They are not good for us because the foods we eat already has them added. Fruit and vegetables have all the sugar and sodium we need so there is no need to add them. But we are overdosing on them today.

Exercise Regularly.

Cardio exercise and resistance training are both necessary. David walks everyday and he also does push ups. In addition he leads a very active lifestyle. Being in the gym helps but it is not necessary. Exercise is as important to our health as what we eat and drink. Do it every day.

Natural Nutritional Vitamin Supplements.

We can not eat perfectly healthy. Yet we can supplement our diets with safe, healthy, nutritional vitamin supplements. Not only can we but we should add calcium, omega fish oils, and a list of other vitamins minerals and nutrients that we get with the proper supplementation.

Healthy Weight Loss Program and David Murdoch Diet.

As I have researched David’s diet and my healthy weight loss program what I have found is that they are the same. David Murdoch has not published a step by step David Murdoch Diet but the precepts and fundamentals are the same as my healthy weight loss program. Whatever you are looking for you need to get busy and you too can claim 120 years of a healthy active life.

Healthy Weight Loss by Exercise Combined With a Nutritional Diet

The key to losing weight in a healthy way is with a combination of exercise and a nutritional diet. It is the best and safest plan for healthy weight loss.

Dieting may conjure up visions of eating no more than lettuce, sprouts and other raw vegetables. However, you can enjoy all foods as part of a healthy diet as long as you don’t overdo it. Moderation in all things we do is better for us. To be successful at losing weight, you need to change your lifestyle, not just go on a diet.

A great idea for dieting and healthy weight loss: Eat five to nine pieces of fruit a day for a few months and you’ll notice that your appetite for fruit will increase and best of all, your appetite for stimulants will surely decrease. You will slowly shed the unwanted extra weight.

Exercise will help you burn excess calories and fat, and will also help to tone and build muscle. When trying to lose weight, it is a good idea to exercise daily. Exercise and a balanced diet are the key factors in fat loss and weight reduction. If you are eating more calories than you are burning off throughout the day, the result will be calories stored as fat.

Exercise makes a lot of difference. The best thing you can do is educate yourself about nutrition and exercise. Understand that exercise can be just anything that keeps your body and muscles moving. You have to keep your body in constant, regular motion in order to realize healthy weight loss and keep extra fat off.

Eat slowly and calmly. Eating crazy food combination or eliminating food groups is not the way to keep weight off. Instead, choose a nutritionally balanced plan with enough calories to keep you from feeling tired. Eating too much saturated fat is bad for you. Saturated fat is found in animal products and should be eaten in moderation

Drug and food companies have made eating a complicated issue. Fortunately, we know that traditional foods have kept us healthy for thousands of years. Remembering this should make you aware that what worked then will work now. Healthy weight loss and all around good health was not a serious problem until we abandoned our natural and healthy ways of eating and living.
